Es una prueba din\u00e1mica de tipo no destructiva.<\/p>\n<p>Aplicando esta prueba, la normativa internacional, permite incrementar el tope estructural de los pilotes.<\/p>\n<p>Se emplea en varios tipos de pilotes, como: pre-excavados, hincados o de h\u00e9lice continua; la prueba se hace bajo la norma ASTM D5882.<\/p>\n<p>Sus ventajas son m\u00faltiples como la detecci\u00f3n de defectos o anomal\u00edas peligrosas, tales como: fracturas mayores, estrechamientos o estrangulamientos, incrustaciones de suelos u oquedades, y la determinaci\u00f3n de la longitud de los pilotes.<\/p>\n<p>Las limitantes del ensayo son b\u00e1sicamente la no detecci\u00f3n de defectos peque\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>El PIT emplea la teor\u00eda de la propagaci\u00f3n de onda, el cual consiste en generar una onda, con ayuda de un martillo, sobre la superficie del pilote, esta onda se propagar\u00e1 a lo largo del pilote hasta encontrar el contacto con el suelo, donde la onda se reflejar\u00e1 y volver\u00e1 a superficie, el tiempo que gasta la onda en realizar esto ser\u00e1 medido por un aceler\u00f3metro ubicado sobre la superficie del pilote.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe src=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1jaZCwrMYo0tdM4ZiG8GQxB2o6fhMyVyg\/preview\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El objetivo de la prueba es caracterizar la calidad de un pilote ya construido.
